Boy Scout Troop256, Pickerington, Ohio

Our troop has lasted through the ages.  On the 23rd day of May, 1932,  Troop #154 was chartered as "A Group of Citizens".  It's task was "To conduct a Troop of Boy Scouts to carry out the program of the Boy Scouts of America for CHARACTER BUILDING: AMERICANIZATION: CITIZENSHIP TRAINING."  It was signed by then Honorary President, Herbert Hoover.   Troop 154 was later to become Troop 256.

Our first Scoutmaster was E. J. Neff and our first Assistant Scoutmaster was Carl Ebright.

.Our Troop Charter of March 31, 1946 is the first record of our Troops continuous existence.
